Tandazani is currently pursuing an MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies at Leeds University in the United Kingdom. A multimedia artist in her own right, Tandazani holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Honors in Art and Art History from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. In 2009, she spent 4 months studying Art History in Florence, Italy. Tandazani has worked as the Curator for Education at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. Previously, she was the Marketing and Operations Administrator at the same institution. In recent times, Tandazani was the Social Media Strategist for GWANZA- Month to photography. In 2013, after attending the first ever Zimbabwean Curatorial Forum and Workshop in Bulawayo, she was invited to curate an exhibition as part of the European Union Day celebrations at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. The exhibition featured several young emerging artists and was titled, Engaging with “the Other”. Since then she has curated several other exhibitions. Tandazani loves to write about art and was the Arts and Theatre contributor for Jewel Magazine, one of Zimbabwe’s most widely read women’s glossy magazines from 2012-2014. While in Zimbabwe, in her spare time, Tandazani created her own art work at the Villiage Unhu studios.
